The KIK program of K.I. Kampen is flushing the most interesting cows in the Holstein population. This way K.I. Kampen are trying to get extra choice from the best cowfamilies. Some of the embryos are used by the breeders, others go to other dairyfarms. This way K.I. Kampen stays on top of the best cowfamilies to breed the best bulls for our customers. The KIK program is not only good for K.I. Kampen and its customers for bull semen. It also works super for dairy farmers who get the embryos. An example of this is mister Albert Dankelman from Arrien, the Netherlands. He received the embryos of full sibs to K.I. Kampen bull Oelhorst Undercover. That made him very happy. “It is a cow as I like a cow. She is an easy producer of high kilos fat and protein. She is in calf when I want her to. She is third calver and just scanned in calf.” This cow, De Vlog Eline 1 is VG 88 and recently won a local video show. As third calver her 305 days production is predicted on 13836 kg of milk with 4.94% fat and 4.07% protein. She is very nice late maturing with a good growth over the lactations.

This is one of the examples that give K.I. Kampen the trust we are selecting the right animals. There is genetics that work on specific farms and there is genetics that work everywhere. For the K.I.
