Willem's-Hoeve Steyr

Steyr, a name well known in the hunting world as a renowned weapons brand, is hopefully also a hit in the breeding world. In any case, the foundation is firmly laid for it because Steyr comes from two very successful cow families. On his father’s side, Steyr has with Midwolder Martin a father who comes from the high-producing Marjon family of Midwolder Holsteins. For generations the Marjons have been producing at a high level and in time many excellent bulls have also emerged from it, including Mardonno, Goldmar and recently Midwolder Movement debuted high in the ranking. Midwolder Martin’s father, Stantons Adorable a Supershot son who shows excellent grades based on Dutch daughters, which puts him at the top of the ranking with  high NVI. Equally impressive are the performance in the dam line behind Steyr.  Within the Rita family, F16 daughter Rita 52 Ex93 can be considered the founding dam, then Ex93 Sunny Boy, Ex92 Lord Lily, AB87 Shottle, AB89 Ramos, AB85 Snowman, AB86 Chevrolet to finish with Steyer’s mother, Rita 1626A a Jetset daughter registered with VG86. It is best described as a medium-sized heifer with a perfect strength to height ratio and equipped with a long strongly attached udder. In addition to excellent all-round conformation, the Rita’s know how to produce high lists, with the sidenote that extreme productivity occasionally goes at the expense of the breeding values for contents. However, Steyr’s mother has nice contents with 4.71% fat and 3.64% protein in her first 305 days in addition to a high milk production of 10,825 kg. A high milk production is also the expectation of Willem’s-Hoeve Steyr and in addition his daughters will be medium-grown cows that function well in any livestock system.
