The two B&W genomics testbulls of May: High components!
For May there are two new B&W genomics testbulls available. They have two traits in common: Their genomics profile shows high components and their cowfamily is impressive. Agus Lars (Marpon x Ranger aAa 234, A2A2) is a potential super bull. His dam is a VG87 cow with a good production in her first lactation. Her dam is a super producing VG87 Eduard daughter. This cowfamily starts with the famous Renate. Bulls like Danno, Vitesse, Solero and Snowdrop PP are from this cowfamily.
The genomic profile of Lars is comparable to his sire Marpon. Hardly any mistakes can be found. Production is super and the udders are of the highest standards. Low sommetic cellcount, high daughter fertility, high persistency and late maturity make him a super pick for the commercial dairy farmer. Beside that he will give slightly longer teats, slightly sickled legs and sloping rumps.

Wilskracht Wayback rf (Abundant P x Jacuzzi, aAa 513) comes from a cowfamily (the Warsi family) that combines super type with very high production. His dam is a VG89 Jacuzzi daughter. She is a typical example of what her sire gives. Persistent, late maturing and high fat %. Her dam is the EX93 Bram daughter that became reserve champion at the Holland Holstein Herds Show of 2022. Beside her super type, she is a super producer with lots of kgs fat and protein. Her daily average in the first 52.798 kgs of milk in her life was almost 42 kgs.
Wayback rf is aAa 513. He also has extreme high genomic figures for type. This probably comes from his sire Abundant P. Beside that his genomic profile shows wide chests and longer teats. He might not be the highest bull in kgs milk, but the components will be very high. Especially fat percentage is high.
