Holbra Marco (Rioaveso x Cameron, aAa 234, A2A2) is a new genomics testbull. He comes from the Malon/Pam family, that traces back on Golden-Oaks Mark Prudence. Sire Rioaveso (Rio x Bandares) is a very attractive daughterproven bull. He has a lot of milk with a plus for fat and neutral protein. Beside that his daughters are fertile, have low scc and healthy hoofs. His daughters are very persistent. He is average in stature with good udders. The dam of Marco, Holbra Malon 17 (VG87) produced 13.300 kg milk with 4.64% fat and 3.81% protein in 305 days in her second lactation. She is a very well developed cow with a super rump and a very well attached udder with very good feet and legs. Her dam, Holbra Malon 9 (VG88) was a Boarddaughter. She showed many similarities with Malon 17. She produced 50.493 kg milk with 4.70% fat and 3.92% protein. Her dam, Holbra Malon 3 (VG88, s.Balisto) produced 78.128 kg milk with 4.58% fat and 4.03% protein in her life. She is the dam of Holbra Adori. After that the sire stack is: Man O Man, Mascol, Durham and they all have at least VG87. Holbra Marco is a very correctly built bull who will most probably deliver productive and healthy daughters with good type. His genomics profile is very complete. Health and management traits are of the highest level. Traits like milkingspeed, rear legs site view and teat length are interesting to mate many modern Holstein cows with. His genomics for fat is a slight minus. But with a lot of liters and a plus for protein, this is compensated. Holbra Marco is A2A2 beta casein and BB kappa casein.
