Broekhuizen Pepijn (Eloy Rc x Japan Rc, aAa 435, A2A2). Pepijn came at a slightly older age to K.I. Kampen. The looks of the bull immediately impressed our colleagues. The story of his cowfamily is different than other K.I. Kampen bulls. His dam is not classified because she already passed away. She had an accident. The colleagues of K.I. Kampen saw her as a fresh heifer. She had everything to grow into a great mature cow. She was very impressive with the width in her body, deep ribs and a wide sloping rump. Accidents are not heritable and the rest of the bull’s story is a typical K.I. Kampen bull story, K.I. Kampen decided to make him available for the customers.
The genomics of Pepijn show a huge amount of milk. This is combined with a super score for SCC and persistency . His total type is high. The stature and chest width have a very nice balance. Pepijn will make cows that easily produce a lot of milk.
Pepijn is a very well developed bull with super feet and legs. Beside the power he shows, he is A2A2 for beta casein. Using Pepijn is highly recommended.
