Jotanidaughter supreme champion Wintershow Netherlands South!
Saturday the fourth of March the Netherlands South Wintershow took place. The overall quality of cows was very high. It is a great honour that Jotanidaughter Glinzer Beatrix 91 (EX90) owned by breeding- and dairyfarm K.I. Samen made it to supreme champion Red and White. The judge praised her for her capacity, width in the frame and her super high back udder. Beatrix 91 is a typical representative for her sire Jotani. The daughters of this Jotanson have excellent udders and super feet and legs. That is why the daughters last. Beatrix 91 is not only good in type, she is producing well too. In her second lactation she produced 14.119 kgs of milk with 4.41% fat and 3.70% protein in 337 days. After 120 days in her third lactation she produced a daily average of over 40 kg of milk with 4.46% fat and 3.79% protein.
This was not the only great result of K.I. Kampen offspring in Asten-Heusden. Bartdaughter Grashoek Rea 4 Pp (EX90) also made it to the champions round. In this final round she made it to the third place. More and more dairy farmers are convinced of Bart. Especially when they get older the Bartdaughters are trouble free cows that are easy to manage. It is also good to see a Bartdaughter does a great job in the showring again. But type is not her only quality. She is a super producer too. In her second lactation she produced 9948 kg of milk with 4.42% fat and 3.70% protein. In her second lacation she produces a daily average of over 43 kg of milk in the first 77 days.
