Saturday, June 6, 2026, the Dutch National Red & White Show was held. A wonderful day for all lovers of great cattle. At this show, Broekhuizen Pepijn (Eloy Rf x Japan Rf, aAa 435, A2A2) made his debut with a daughter group. His daughter group showed what the breeding values represent. Pepijn daughters are good producing animals with super, dry legs. The rumps are of excellent quality; slightly sloping and wide. They are well-developed animals. What was most striking about the daughter group was the strength and width that the daughters radiated from front to back.

Daughters of K.I. Kampen bulls also achieved good results individually. For example, Barendonk Brasilera 75 (s Barendonk Rydor, owner. Barendonk Holsteins VOF) won a 1B classification in the heifers class and Dol's Irma (s. De Paarlberg Andes, owner. Mts Melkveebedrijf Eggerink) 1C in the middle class. In another middle class Batouwe Rednex Maxyme (s. Drouner Rednex, owner. Batouwe Holsteins/Vof Schimmel) and Dol's Helena (s. Drouner Rednex, owner. Mts Melkveebedrijf Eggerink) 1B and 1C respectively. In the production class of animals above 70,000 liters lifetime production, Mariahoeve Trandy's great-grandmother, Mariahoeve Trees 142 (s. Youri, owner of Mts. Hartjes-Buurke) competed very creditably. Beautiful results and heartfelt congratulations to the breeders and/or owners.

In the heifers, the opening was immediately a hit for K.I. Kampen. G.N. Amber 2570 (s. Drouner Rednex) from the Gijmink family from Nieuwlande received the 1A listing. Later she received the honorable mention at the general championship of the heifers. The jury praised her youth and the beautiful transitions. She is stable in the front legs and has a good rump structure. She won her class mainly because she had the best legs and the best udder. Congratulations to the Gijmink family with this great result! Photo: G.N. Amber 2570, s. Drouner Rednex, owner: Gijmink family in Nieuwlande. 1a in the heifers section.

Thanks to all who made this beautiful show possible! An extra thank you and appreciation for the farmers who made the Pepijn daughters available for the daughter group. It has been greatly appreciated by K.I. Kampen and your fellow livestock farmers.
